Though I haven't had nearly as much free time to share all of my knowledge with you guys, I'm taking a few moments out of my very early morning (2am to be exact) to share a read that is very important to me.
"The Destruction of Black Civilization" by Chancellor Williams, has to be one of the most eye opening novels I have ever read in my life.
I'm only half way through the book as of now and I feel like I know more black history than 70% of the black people in America (which I probably do, just to be honest).
You'll see me type this a lot, but again....real black history will hurt you before it helps you. The truth hurts. Knowing our struggle as a race and that we were once the very top dog of the universe in comparison to now hurts. The lack of knowledge OUR OWN PEOPLE HAVE of OUR OWN RACE...hurts. You will get through it and you will find peace in knowing your heritage.
As I go through this novel with you all, I will share in summary its readings and lessons. I encourage EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU (even my caucasian/asian readers bc yall should be woke too) to purchase this book. Click here for the link.
Just a fun quick fact for the day (and an obvious/constant reminder) AFRICAN PEOPLE were the first people of this world. No matter what false "Evidence" has been placed since then, this is one thing I know and stand by, and one thing nobody can take from us. We are golden. We are beautiful. We are ROYALTY.
Please subscribe so you are reminded when I update my blogs, and I look forward to sharing more with you soon :)
Xoxo,
Dom
