A bit of a rant..

So I am a bit late in sharing this with you, but at the end of September I found my self amongst many on Facebook who were slandering those participating in the kneeling during the national anthem movement. I normally keep personal opinions to a minimum, but I realized I needed to share my thought because many don't understand what exactly we as African Americans deal with, nor what we are going through mentally physically and spiritually when it comes to having to adjust to what the country and it's opposing citizens inflict upon our everyday lives:

With all of that being said, even today.. after Kaepernick being named GQ's citizen of the year, we still are hearing endless slander and complete disrespect of anything relative to this movement and lack of understanding for what the real reason behind it is. At the end of the day, you can't MAKE someone understand. You can only pray that one day people will acknowledge the wrong done and be a part in the change we wish to see. I hope to shine a light, because I know my blog viewers are of all races, religions, political views etc. I love you all equally! But change. must. come.
