Dr. Jacobs Naturals Product Review!

Hey guys!!!!! I am so excited to do this review on Dr. Jacobs Naturals Castile Soaps! Before I get into why I love each of these three ALL NATURAL products, I will give you a bit of a background on the reasons why you should switch to using Castile soap in your home.
Castile soaps got their name after the olive oil-based soaps originating in Castile, Spain. It can come in liquid or bar form, but it is made only from vegetable oils, meaning NO ANIMAL FATS like most of the soaps include that are on the market. This soap is gentle and extremely versatile, as it can be used for personal hair/body care, and for good ol' home cleaning.
Benefits of Castile Soap include ALL of the following:
1. It is gentle and the #1 choice soap for sensitive/acne prone skin (will not clog pores!)
2. It helps fight agains eczema breakouts
3. It possesses anti bacterials to fight against germs and air borne illnesses.
4. Its great for people with allergies bc it contains no scents or fragrances!
5. It's a great shampoo alternative!
6. **MY PERSONAL FAV: You can use it as a base in other home made personal care recipes like hair butters, skin butters, conditioner etc.
7. It's perfect for vegans, 100% natural with no animal derivatives!
8. Safe to use around pets and infants.
9. It's versatile AF---use it for shampoo, body wash, shaving cream, cleaning your kitchen, mopping your floor the WHOLE nine!
10. It is environmental friendly and has absolutely 0 toxins!
NOW TO THE NITTY GRITTY!
I have to say I am THOROUGHLY impressed with this brand. For those who are newly subscribed, I make all of my own hair and skin care products from scratch after realizing all of the harmful ingredients that are in products sold at beauty supply stores. It was the best change I could have made for myself and my hygiene, but this product has since helped IMMENSELY in my growth!
1. Dr. Jacob's All Natural Lavender Castile Liquid Soap: This stuff here is so perfect for me. I didn't request a specific item to be sent to me for review, so I almost feel like this company knows my entire life bc I LOVE LAVENDER. I use lavender in almost everything! My use for the Lavender Castile Soap Particularly is as a base for all of my skin and hair care needs. I have used it for making lavender conditioner, facial wash, shampoo, lavender bath soaks..you name it I've done it! It smells of pure lavender, but also includes coconut oil, vegetable oil, sea salt, aloe vera and vitamin E (I love me some vitamin E) It's perfect for helping calm and sooth your senses and reducing stress, while leaving your skin clean and smooth from the moisture barrier created with these natural oils!
2. Dr. Jacob's All Natural Charcoal Liquid Soap: this stuff here is God sent. NO CAP. I am obsessed yall. My last skin care blog was on my self made charcoal facial scrub (which I also love) But this again just reminds me of how much this brand was made for my life!!!!! This facial cleanser does the job!! It cleanses deep into my pores and draws all the icky stuff OUTTA HERE. The back of the label describes it as a "Miracle Detoxifier" and I saw no lies. The activated charcoal cleansed and unclogged all of my pores and left my skin super bright, super glowy, and SUPER CLEAR. I love it I love it I love it. Can't say it enough.
3. Finally. The Coco Loco Limeade Loofah Exfoliating Castile Soap Bar (try saying that three times fast): This little bar of goodness has done my body so goooooood. I'm pretty positive this is the closest I'll ever get to bathing with butter lol! This bar is triple milled with Organic Shea Butter, including coconut oil and peeled lime bits to moisturize your skin to the heavens!!!!! It is also 100% natural and wrapped in recycled paper for all of my nature lovers.
Now that I've gone through the nitty, I want to say first hand, that if there is anything about a product I would warn my readers about, or dislike; you all would hear it with no shame. This brand is truly, so very high quality and I am so happy they reached out to allow me to review them for you all. I am very picky when it comes to my skin, and I spend a lot of time reading up on products and their benefits before I take the time to share with you guys because I want the best for you all too! You can find these three products that I sampled in stores from anywhere between 6-15$ per item (varies upon what size you get).
I HIGHLY recommend this brand of All Natural products to you guys! Grab your Dr. Jacobs and get to stirring it up in the kitchen or in the shower! I will post some of my home made skin and hair care recipes that include these products soon!!!!!
