13 Reasons Why Amazon Saves Time and Money.

As requested, I thought I would share with you a few of the many many many items I purchase through Amazon, rather than trying to find them in stores or spending much more money on them in stores! I have Amazon Prime, which allows a number of extra benefits and free 2 day shipping on my purchases, but anyone can save money using Amazon... Prime member or not!

1. T E X T B O O K S

For any students out there looking for a way to rent/purchase books without breaking the bank...Amazon is your friend! My freshman year in College I spent over $600.00 on textbooks at the campus bookstore, and quickly learned the benefits of renting through Amazon Textbook Rentals. The following semester I only spent $190.00 on FIVE BOOKS (College students know thats a dream come true). If you're a Prime Member, you can order your textbooks and have them within TWO DAYS. It's pretty much the greatest part about using Amazon and I highly recommend you guys look into it and save your coins!

2. School Supplies

Duh... you saw it coming. I'm a nursing student, and that comes with sooooo many supplies. Stethescope, Sphygmomanometer, penlight, LOTS OF PENS, clipboards bandage scissors etc.... All of which I ordered using Amazon the week that I started school (because what's my life without a little procrastination) and got them in two days as well! I would've spent a lot more money going to the actual Littman website, or going to Walmart/Target for supplies, but I went to Amazon AND got a pack of 32 pens for the price I'd pay for 10! It's a beautiful thing to save money man. (Also, Northface Bookbags are 20$ cheaper on Amazon; just saying.)

3. Vitamins, Skin Care, Hair Care!

These are all ssssssssooooo important! I go through Vitamins like babies go through milk and CONSTANTLY make my own skin and hair products. I cannot afford to go to the store every 2 weeks for small quantities of product when I can order bulk on Amazon for the low! Especially when it comes to my oils (which are 70% cheaper via Amazon vs. local stores) I only get them online.

4. Basic Apparel for Custom Design

You're probably wondering what I'm even talking about, but this one is for those in organizations on campus, friends throwing parties, couples that want to be head ass, or those a part of Greek life. Amazon sells basic colored Jackets, Windbreakers, Sweatshirts, T shirts, Sweatpants....even down to socks and sandals! Not only that, but these items are super cheap (I once got a cream crewneck on Amazon for 8$ and turned it into greek apparel that looked like it was done professionally!) For couples who want matching shirts or those trying to order shirts to print for family pictures/parties, this is a good idea to save your piggy bank!

5. Electronics

Who knew Amazon would be such an outlet for technology. Every so often they have special sales (Especially if you're a Prime member) and you can save up to 100$ on certain items like Kindle, Firestick, etc. I think 2 day shipping is great for this also, and even more so around holidays and birthday's when you're a bit behind on gifting.

6. Aromatherapy Needs

For my holistic, meditating, super essential oil loving friends, this one is for you. Essential oils are expensive EVERYWHERE. Yes, I mean everywhere. I've tried Marshall, TJ Maxx, even Burlington and nonetheless Amazon has had the best bang for my buck. I order all essential oils through Amazon, AND also my Aromatherapy Diffuser through Amazon. *Fun Fact: I bought my diffuser for 24.99 and saw it in a store the next day for 49.99* Amazon offers a wide selection of oils and blends and you will fall in love and obsession with ordering through them.

7. Home decor

Amazon has lottttts of furniture and decor items to fit every home designer's needs! From figurines, to bathroom sets, organizers and pretty much anything else; Amazon is literally your search engine for whatever your creative mind decides to put into works for your home!

8. Movies!

Amazon Prime Members know about this one! (Unless your me who has been a member for 3 years and just found out the perks of the entire membership including this one---4 months ago). All Prime Members get Access to Amazon movies and a plethora of free movies to watch that are 1000000X BETTER THAN NETFLIX OMG. I will be Amazon's personal advocate on this one, it's so worth it! Even without Prime I'm pretty sure you can rent movies for like 2.99 which can make for a pretty cheap movie night date with bae and save gas making a trip to Redbox or buying movie tickets. I watched an entire 3 seasons of Teen Wolf in a day once, which is a bit embarrassing but hey, that's what happens when you learn 3 years down the line what you're missing out on!

9. Cute Clothing

I took a trip to HTX last summer for Drake's Houston Appreciation Weekend, and when I tell y'all almost everything I wore out there was from Amazon. I had so many people ask where I got my top or jumpsuit or shades from and I laughed a little because who would ever even guess I went to Amazon??? Lol. I spent a total of 40$ and had three days worth of cute outfits completed. Amazing. Just. Amazing.

10. Make up

I will advise that you all be careful with product you're putting on your skin, though Amazon has many common brand names for the low! Anything you can find in drug stores you can get on Amazon for cheaper, simply put. They have anything you can think of, and when its Wednesday morning and you're freaking out because you need a certain make up look done for Friday night, you know you can count on Ole Faithful Amazon to ship your cosmetic needs to your door before then!

11. Pet Supplies

As a teething puppy mom, I run through pads and toys like nobody's business!!!!!! I recently went to Amazon in desperate need for something that would keep my pup from eating up all of his pads!!! (gross!) Luckily, I found a puppy "toilet" where you place the pad in between a snap on cover and base, and the dog urine drains through the cover and onto the pad leaving ZERO MESS and no upset puppy tummy! Best 26 dollars I ever spent, and Petsmart wanted 80!!!! They have toys, and o m g the dog clothing is to dieeeeee for. Doggie parents you will love this benefit!!!!

12. Toys & Games

Self explanatory for moms and older siblings. Save money and shop Amazon for your little baby/baby siblings desires! Toys R Us is SOOOO overrated these days.

13. Gift Cards

I thought that this was pretty cool. You can order a gift card to nearly ANYWHERE with money already on it through Amazon for FREE. you heard me. Whether its a card for Starbucks, Buffalo Wild Wings, Netflix, Forever 21, Southwest Airlines, or even a card for Amazon; they will hold you zowwwwwwwwnnnnnn. This is so convenient for birthdays or special occasions when gifting someone or even just random gifts for moms/dads/boos. DID I MENTION THIS IS FREE AND YOU GET IT IN 2 DAYS????
