Hello CPsyche babies! I'M BACK....and with my first feature!!!!!!
Now, before I bless you all with the forefront knowledge of this person's existence/talent who is VERY near and dear to my heart, I want to acknowledge some of you pointed out that viewing my blog on the computer (as extremely super lit and animated as it may be) vs. the mobile blog is a bit of a contrast as far as font size, alignment are portrayed. I've toyed around with my blog a little and the only conclusion I've come to is to limit my font size to "not so gigantic" so that it doesn't take you 100,000 years to scroll through each post on your itty bitty phone screens (I'm team iPhone 6S Plus and can't relate) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Anywho, the problem is solved and I'm working on making the mobile app more animated and advanced as my blog is through the web. I appreciate the feedback, you guys motivate me to keep doing what I do!
Now for what you've all been waiting for...*DRUMROLL PLEASE*
I have taken some time to dedicate my first feature to my very best of sisters, Brittany R. Parish otherwise known as THAT B*TCH otherwise known as MAMA BRIT otherwise known as BRIT THE BADDIE!!!!!

Warning: This post will contain a bit of profane language as I refuse to blot out the authenticity of Brit & I's persona for the public. Bless up.
Now I know what you're thinking..."Why so many names?" "Is she really a b*tch?" "Mama? She got children!?!" "She must be bad..."
1. No, but she's THAT b*tch and everyone one of those has her moments. 2. ...Eh, you can say that..¯\_(ツ)_/¯ , and 3. VERY MUCH SO one of the BADDEST that I know!
A bit of a background check on Britt the Baddie and I's relationship begins with us becoming acquainted our Freshman year in College (Fall 2014), as she lived two doors down from me in the dorms and we became young and dumb delinquent friends (lolol).. our relationship further sprouted the following year as we BOTH pledged Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and have been inseparable ever since! She's bold, raw, and unapologetic in the words of herself, and possesses such great talent in the light of being 100% transparent to the people of her beliefs and values, as well as her knowledge of all things lifestyle and beauty related.
I got a chance to speak with Brit a few weeks ago, as she had begun her own youtube channel shortly after I had begun blogging, to gain an understanding of what exactly she was doing with her vlog (now currently holding 150+ subscriptions), and how she planned to reach her audience in the coming future through vlogging. Below is a written interview between the two of us, as I shine light on her amazing talent and plans for her "BritTheBaddie" youtube channel. ❤

DOM: What made you want to start your own YouTube channel? What inspires you when choosing your topics?
BRIT: I love makeup. Period. Everything about it. The ability to acknowledge and embrace your flaws for what they are and enhance your natural beauty is everything to me. Makeup is art. I take pride in looking my best (when I actually do dress up lol) and b*tch I love compliments. So I knew that if I was to ever create a channel, that's what it would be about. I thrive off of positive energy and making others smile and with the personality I have, I knew I could encourage others to really be themselves if I had the platform. That's why my channel isn't just makeup. It's all things beauty and lifestyle. When a woman really takes care of her mind, body, a spirit, she becomes a force and that's what I strive to portray on my channel. My topics are inspired by the people. I'm always on Twitter. And that's where most of my topics come from; my followers. They support me and give me so much feedback and ideas, it's crazy. I run polls and say "quote this with what you want to see on my channel" all the time. And sometimes they'll even just tweet my a*s with buku ideas I ain't ask for but I appreciate them so much. Like without them, I'd be struggled out. It's all love.
Dom: What group of people is your channel directed towards? What do you want them to gain from your vlog? BRIT: Well first off, I'm Black. I'm Black as hell. And I love being Black. We are living in a space where Black people are dehumanized, devalued, and degraded. Especially Black women. We're a double minority. So it's my goal to uplift Black women on my channel. They are my number one supporters. We have to make ourselves a priority no matter what. The Black community is so closely knit. The culture we share is incomparable. And I want to encourage my people. But my channel is more than that. In general, it's directed towards millennials. Anybody going and growing through life. We all out here trying to make it by any means necessary. We are so creative and innovative. So yeah, I do makeup and sh*t so of course more young women would be into my videos. But the world is constantly changing, people are starting to love themselves for who they are so if a guy watches my channel to get some tips on winged liner then so be it! My channel is for any and everybody who wants to learn and grow with me. Anyone who needs a laugh. Anyone who wants to enjoy themselves. There are no limitations when it comes to me. My channel is a no judgement zone, period. From watching my videos I just want everybody to gain a sense of self. I'm a regular a*s b*tch. Full of imperfections but I love myself. And I've got a lot of knowledge and experiences that I want to share.
Dom: What is your ultimate goal as far as what's to come with your channel? BRIT: My ultimate goal is obviously to make them coins sus! If I could sit on my a*s and give my opinions on makeup, skin care, and hair care products all day and get paid for it? Child. But no for real, it's to be a light. To be an inspiration. To show people that you can do what you love and be successful. To show people that you can be unconventional, and you don't have to conform. Just an entire push to embrace you. Whoever "you" is. We miss out on life when we place limits on ourselves. So I don't want to say what an end goal for my channel is. I just wanna ride this thing till the wheels fall off. Whatever happens, happens. I've been wholeheartedly enjoying this month I've been on YouTube so far and I have so many ideas I want to put into fruition. All the love and support I've been getting has been wild as f*ck. The first half of this year has been so rough for me and starting this channel and having my people behind me has been the greatest blessing. A whole turn around. And I'm grateful for that. But y'all gotta stay tuned because I'm just getting started.
After speaking of vlogging and blogging with Brit, watching every last video on her channel which truly depicts her talent and ability to connect with her viewers and make you laugh, smile, think a little, wanna call ya man and cuss him out, and just gain a sense of being and then grasping the concept she upholds through her vlog "BritTheBaddie", I IMPLORE you all to check it out for yourselves! Stay tuned for what else is to come to Cosmic Psyche soon, you won't be disappointed ❤
XOXO, -Dom.
